NōD has been graciously passed on to a new team of executives, and we want you!
Volunteers are what sustain literary journals like NōD, and we provide valuable experience for little time commitment. Email us at email@example.com to volunteer or to sign up as a member, or come visit us at the Students’ Union clubs week!
What is the difference between a member and a volunteer?
Both cost $5, and both receive perks such as discounted issues and free entrance to launches and social events. Membership is valid from September 1st, 2015 until August 31st, 2016. Put simply: a volunteer is a member who wants to gain valuable experience and wishes to be even more involved with NōD. We look forward to hearing from you!
After many inquiries from students, we have decided to accept literary nonfiction and creative nonfiction for our website! Submit your book reviews, literary analyses, and issue-themed related work to firstname.lastname@example.org. Send us up to 2000 words in a Word document if you would like to be published on our blog!
As part of NōD‘s reboot, we are working to put together a mailing list! If you want updated calls for submissions, event details, volunteer opportunities, and more, please email email@example.com. We’ll spam you with only the most interesting things.
As part of the new editorial team’s relaunch of the magazine, we are holding a poster contest! Be the face of NōD here online and in that bizarre physical world for the next year. Your work will be featured in the magazine, on our various online spaces, and around Calgary. Check out our mandate for inspiration.
